Ongoing Conservation and repair of a Grade 1 listed country house
This Grade I listed manor was built in 1680, most likely to be the design of Robert Hooke. Hooke along with Christopher Wren was responsible for the rebuilding of London after the Great Fire. Many aspects of this property, such as the staircase, resemble those of Wren’s Royal Hospital. We have been involved in undertaking the conservation and repair work and finding ingenious ways through the house for services.
