Various walls and smaller archaeological finds have been unearthed during the construction and demolition work on the ground floor kitchen and link building areas. Find include Roman bricks, pottery, medieval floor tiles, Georgian walls, medieval walls and animal bones. These all give insights into the history of Stationers’ Hall and help us imagine the status and wealth enjoyed by the company over the past several centuries.
