In association with a Chicago based architectural firm we designed a new community bank facility. The design philosophy was to encourage people to visit their local bank, not with the usual hostile mass of glass and steel but with a much more traditional approach. The bank’s weather boarded façade presented a more approachable face to the public while a traditional appearance communicated the ideas of history and stability.
The result was such a success that the Practice was invited to work on several similar projects around the Chicago suburbs.
