Improving access to an Ancient Scheduled Monument in the City of London
We have been asked to design a scheme to improve access and rationalise internal layouts at Stationers’ Hall, in the City of London. The Hall’s history stretched back to before the Great Fire of London and parts of the complex range from Grade I to Ancient Scheduled Monuments. Part of the London Wall runs under the building. In such a historic site, we have been working closely with the Stationers’ Company, Historic England, and the city of London to develop a sensitive and appropriate scheme.
